About The Event

Often times, it may be easy to take for granted the rights and freedoms of the United States: freedom of speech, press, religion, the right to assemble/protest, free market capitalism, voting rights, women's rights, land ownership, education, etc. to name a few. These rights and freedoms have enabled our great nation to flourish and prosper for many years, however they come at a cost...

The brave men and women who serve our nation are the ones that protect our constitution, freedoms, and way of life. Without their sacrifices, we wouldn't be where we are today.

Let's open our hearts to the brave men and women who serve our country by creating and delivering 1,000 Valentine's Day Cards to disabled veterans and those actively serving overseas.

In order to make this event possible, we need donations of Valentine's Cards! This card drive will take place in Washington DC.

If you would like to donate Valentine's Cards to support this effort please bring them here! Cards can be either purchased at a store, or created with paper (to save money). You can either write messages in the cards that you donate, or leave them blank and our volunteers will take care of the rest!

Please feel free to contact me with questions (info@barberafoundation.org). We need as much help as possible with this event, so thank you very much for volunteering!

Thanks!

Kevin
