About The Event
Last spring, Barbera Foundation was able to help out Oakbrook Church with their food drive during the Covid Pandemic with over 80 people participating! As a result, thanks to the generous time and energy of Barbera Foundation volunteers, Oakbrook has been delivering food to over 100 Herndon/Reston families a week (every other week, for a total of over 200 families) since March. That alone was a huge accomplishment, as well as wonderful gift to our community.
More recently, Oakbrook has partnered with the Fairfax County Health Department to provide food for low-income families that need to be quarantined, as well as families who are fleeing domestic violence situations. They need YOUR HELP!
Food prices have increased so much that their expenses have almost doubled!
Please donate food (list provided below)! Donations can be dropped off at the church (Oakbrook Church, 1700 Reston Parkway Reston, VA 20190) between 10am and 2pm Tuesday through Friday, or by appointment with Kathy Mallett (email@example.com).

If you would like to make a financial contribution please click here! All contributions to the food ministry go directly to the purchase of food. They are not used for any other element of the church, including administrative costs.
