Barbera Foundation has partnered with local homeless shelters in Northern VA to supply their residents with used and refurbished laptop computers. These computers assist those transitioning out of homelessness to find new jobs and ultimately to lead more successful and productive lives. 

 

In addition to helping the homeless, Barbera Foundation has partnered with a non-profit called Hopecam (www.hopecam.org) to help children who are recovering from cancer. Hopecam's mission is to overcome the social isolation experienced by children in treatment for cancer. They do this by providing tablets and/or laptop computers, along with internet, to children from low-income households who are recovering from cancer so that they can video conference and communicate with their classmates and friends at school.
