What a great weekend! We delivered all of the professional clothing that was donated to us in the "Suited for Success" charitable initiative to Women Giving Back, an organization that collects women's clothing and accessories to support women who are going through homelessness, domestic violence, and other difficult times.

Today's "Suited for Success" drive went well! Thank you to all of our volunteers for donating their used dress clothes. These will be donated to local shelters to help people transitioning out of homelessness when they interview for new jobs!
Thanks to all of our volunteers for helping out with our many volunteering opportunities over the the summer. Each event, whether it be preparing and serving dinner to the homeless, arts and crafts with seniors, and delivering care packages to the homeless, was also a fundraiser to support another cause.
This summer, fellow Barbera Foundation volunteer, Brittany Mahat had a goal of raising $25k to support the Lymphoma and Leukemia Society. I'm happy to...

Ticket sales go towards supporting the particular event, various fundraising initiatives, and overhead expenses that the Barbera Foundation incurs. For example, ticket sales from a dinner at a homeless shelter may go towards supporting another charity like the Lymphoma and Leukemia Society, or a fundraising in...
We had a fun time with the residents of a rehabilitation facility in Sterling, VA! After I taught chair yoga,, the residents and volunteers made "galaxies in a bottle" as an arts & crafts event. Everyone had a great time and met some new friends in the process. Take a look at some of the pictures from the event!
Hope to see you at a charitable event in the near future!
What a great weekend! Barbera Foundation volunteers (www.barberafoundation) delivered 300 carepackages composed of non perishables food items and bottled water to the homeless in Washington DC Sunday afternoon.
Everyone was very grateful for the food and water especially on a hot day. Thanks to all of our donors, assemblers, and delivery people who made this possible. You all made a big difference for those less fortunate. Great work!
Thanks to our friends at the Growing Kids Therapy Center (https://growingkidstherapy.com/) for your very generous donation of non-perishable food items for our "Christmas in July" event! These donations will go to help the homeless in Washington DC?
