Barbera Foundation works extensively with the Embry Rucker Shelter in Reston, VA to prepare and serve dinner to the homeless. Instead of simply serving food, we try to add a unique element to each meal. Whether it is a Halloween-themed dinner with a costume contest at the end, a St. Patrick's day dinner where everyone wears green, or a specific ethnic cuisine (Mexican, Italian, etc.), keeping it creative adds value to both those in need and our volunteers. Our goal is to create experiences that will be remembered for many years to come!
